The Social Security Administration manages most Medicare functions. You can contact Social Security for help with Medicare cards, initial enrollment, etc. Social Security has a toll-free number that operates from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time, Monday through Friday: 1-800-772-1213.

Most questions you have about Medicare can be answered in one of the publications listed below. You can order and have mailed to you many of the publications listed below. You can download the digital version by selecting one of these links.
